onOne Software has announce  it’s the new Perfect Photo Suite 5.5

Current customer and owner of Plug-In Suite 5, well get a free update to Perfect Photo Suite 5.5 when it’s available in December 2010. Current users will receive an email with a link to download the update at that time.

Perfect Photo Suite 5.5 features the next generation of Genuine Fractals now called Perfect Resize 7, the exciting new Perfect Layers 1 for adding a layered workflow to Lightroom and Aperture, and new features and functionality in PhotoTools 2.6, PhotoFrame 4.6, FocalPoint 2, PhotoTune 3, and Mask Pro 4.
All of the products in the Perfect Photo Suite 5.5 will work as plug-ins for Photoshop. But now, for the first time, five of the seven products in the Suite will work as standalone applications, giving you the ultimate workflow flexibility. Only PhotoTools and Mask Pro will require Photoshop.

Walgreens Launches New Digital Media Recovery Service at Stores Nationwide

Walgreens customers now have a convenient, affordable way to recover deleted or corrupted digital photos thought to be gone forever. The new Media Recovery Service now available at more than 7,500 Walgreens Photo Centers nationwide offers customers professional retrieval of lost images and other files from memory cards or USB drives.

Walgreens Media Recovery Service, provided by award-winning data retrieval specialist FlashFixers, supports recovery of standard image formats and camera RAW files, as well as most sound, video, office and graphics files. Recovery prices are based on media size and begin at $39.99. The recovered files are saved to a CD or DVD for customer pick-up at Walgreens. The customer’s card or drive is returned and there is no charge if the recovery is not successful.

onOne Software has announced Perfect Presets for Photoshop Lightroom. Designed to help photographers work more quickly and easily while expanding their creative options, Perfect Presets for Lightroom 3.0 now offers a third volume of effects created by Mike Wong for a total of 192 presets.
